Brittany Bohnet is currently the product marketing lead for Google TV at Google. In the past, she has also worked on Google Maps, Google Earth, Real Time Search, and iGoogle. Bohnet was also a product lead on Google’s government-related activities from 2007-2009, where she actively worked on merging the gap between online and offline democracy and citizen engagement. Previously she worked in Public Relations at Apple, Marketing at Tiny Pictures, and founded Median Media, a communications consulting company for Silicon Valley startups. She is an advisor to Piryx – a giving platform for small businesses, non-profits, and government officials – and is also a member of several technology organizations, as well as a strong supporter of open data, social identity, and innovative advancement of the web. Her experiences with product strategy, design and development have spanned mobile, web, and TV, for both the U.S. and global market. Bohnet received a BS in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently lives in San Francisco, California.
