She paid $68,000 to do an MBA at Cambridge. Now she's studying via Zoom in India
That could hit a vital revenue stream for the world's best business schools, and undermine the selectivity and diversity for which their MBA programs are known.
More than a third of Harvard Business School's Class of 2021 is from outside the United States, a figure that rises to 43% at Stanford.
In Europe, business schools rely even more heavily on foreign students. Nearly two thirds of this year's Insead MBA class is from outside Europe, while fewer than 10% of students currently enrolled in MBAs at Cambridge Judge and the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School are from Britain.
阿就亞洲人, or other Europeans or Americans
In the United States, education ranked fifth among service exports in 2018, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. More than one million international students attended American colleges in the 2017/2018 academic year, generating $45.3 billion in export revenue.
Business schools in Asia Pacific, such as China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and the Indian Institutes of Management, could be the big winners if MBA candidates choose not to travel so far. Nearly 40% of MBA students at Oxford and Cambridge are from the region, with more than a fifth of the Cambridge class from China and India.

20090203 winter is for snow
Heavy snow in Britain means travel chaos
對於不常下雪的地方而言,snow = national day, causing transportation nightmares but giving rise to thousands of cheery snowmen in a nation barely equipped for heavy winter weather.
lovely I would say. Oh dear, I miss it!
the nature is just amazing. It was essentially a national snow day in Britain. Most schools closed, and millions of workers were unable to make their daily commutes. The capital's entire fleet of red public buses, which carry at least 6 million people daily, were off the roads, unable to move from their garages.
London's iconic subway system suffered severe delays all day, and weary-sounding officials blamed the problems on Victorian-era engineers who apparently failed to adequately plan for heavy winter weather when they designed the world's oldest underground system. Major highways were brought to a standstill, with reports of traffic jams of more than 50 miles on the M25, the highway that rings London.
Interesting, it's nothing for other cities in the north to have all these - huge snow,
dirty mud, decorated trees, harder moves, people know well how to deal with it, simply part of winter. But for London, it's mixed excitements and troubles.

Lonely Planet
Lonely Planet

Two BBC producers are forced out as more vote-rigging cases emerge - Times Online
Two senior producers were forced to quit the BBC yesterday, after the corporation admitted that producers had fixed four more audience votes and competitions.
Richard Marson, a former editor of Blue Peter, was dismissed, and Ric Blaxill, the head of programmes for the digital radio station 6 Music resigned – taking the total number of enforced departures at the broadcaster to three.
Mr Blaxill, a former Top of the Pops executive producer and creative director of Capital Radio, is the most senior of the casualties. He quit as the BBC admitted that production staff invented fictitious winners on the Clare McDonnell show and the Tom Robinson programme, both on 6 Music.
Mr Marson was forced out after the BBC also confirmed The Times’s report that producers had overruled an audience vote on the naming of the current Blue Peter cat, Socks.
