My Notes : 華族，財閥

從高田万由子開始
再度燃起了我一向對日本貴族的興趣

結果越連越多資料寫了兩天寫了一大篇 XD

看起來好漂亮的樣子，不過南阿爾卑斯山？日本人會不會太崇洋媚外了點，總之想去看看。 ^^

四大財閥

岩崎家の同族主義が強かった三菱財閥に対し、有能な人材を多く配したことから「組織の三菱、人の三井、結束の住友」と言われたり、三菱「独裁政治」三井「番頭政治」住友「法治主義」と言われている。

三井財閥：現在（財閥解体後～2007年現在）
他財閥と同様「三井グループ」としてグループ化をするも、三菱グループや住友グループなどと比べてもゆるやかな連合体となっており、グループ企業には独立 色の強い企業（トヨタ自動車、東芝など）や他の企業グループに重複して加盟している企業もある。2001年に三井グループの中核銀行であるさくら銀行が住友グループの中核銀行・住友銀行と合併して三井住友銀行が誕生したことに伴い金融面では三井住友フィナンシャルグループが誕生し、他業種でも三井系と住友系の企業の合併や業務提携が相次いだ。
三菱財閥：

戦後、連合国の方針に基づく財閥解体政策によって三菱本社、三菱商事は解散。三菱重工業、三菱化成が三分割に追い込まれた。死の床にあった小弥太は「国民としてなすべき当然の義務に全力を尽くしたのであって、顧みて恥ずべき何ものもない」と反駁したが、時代の流れに抗う事は出来なかった。なお、解体前の三菱財閥の総資産は、現在価値に換算して推定120兆円と考えられている。しかし1954（昭和29）年に三菱商事が再合同、また、同年には三菱主要企業の会長・社長の親睦と情報交換を目的とした三菱金曜会が始められ、10年後の1964（昭和39）年には、三菱重工業もようやく再合同し新たなスタートを切った。

これは戦前の三菱本社を頂点とした三菱財閥の復活ではなく、グループ各社による対等なグループ形成であったが、他のグループと違い三菱グループの結束力は固かった。とくに戦後の日本の高度経済成長期には、高度成長を担った重化学工業分野に中核有力企業が多いという三菱グループの強みが大いに発揮し、戦後も引き続き、日本を代表する企業グループの一つとして、発展した。

だが近年三菱グループ内で相次いで、不祥事が発覚し、組織としての機能麻痺がはじまっているのではないかという批判もある。

原來Kirin Beer也是Mitsubishi的一員阿（還有Toshiba, Nikon @@），更別提三菱汽車、MUFJ和三菱商事三菱重工了。真的是個恐怖的大集團阿，感覺就是邪惡的老大哥，向著所有的方向延伸勢力，緊緊的箝制住日本政經界的一切？創龍傳的背景應該就是這些大財團吧，泡沫經濟的時代…

住友財閥：400年以上の歴史を数える企業は世界にわずかしか存在しない。住友はその１つである。住友財閥は、ロスチャイルド財閥を超える世界最古の財閥であり、製造業を主業として、その隣接部門への多業種化と垂直的統合によって発展した。住友は、三井と並んで日本の最も古い独占企業体であるが、ただ異なる点は、三井は原則として商いと高利貸でその活動を始め、その事業を継続してきたのに対して、住友は基本的に鉱工業活動に携わってきたことである。相關企業：川崎重工，住友不動產

Mitsubishi Japan Employment Discrimination Case：

A really sad story. I know that Japanese have serious discrimination against Asians, but ironically Caucasians are another thing. The situation should be worse especially in such a giant corporate like Mitsubishi. I agree this guy is at least lucky that he has a green card and many offers from USA for his capabilities. But there are more who keep suffered because of fear of losing jobs and financial support for the family. “he was doing a valuable service to other foreign executives by taking this issue to court.” “The outcome of this case will naturally influence the decisions of numerous other Indian professionals coming to Japan to further their careers.”

I keep reading and find the case is now ended. Unfortunately the result is negative. The judge accepted everything the company told. No miracle happens. Surely it is Japan, people favor authorities by default.

Conclusion: Though nothing much will change in Mitsubishi’s outlook of the world or its treatment of non-whites and women. (sigh)

My Notes : MUFJ 三菱東京UFJ銀行

Starting with this 《日本金融焦點》大型銀行業獲利料呈兩位數下滑,因消費信貸表現不佳 my curiosity is aroused.

三菱東京UFJ銀行 has always been something I am very interested. The mega bank they try to become with the merger between Mitsubishi and UFJ. But can this bank compete with other foreign-owned bank in Japan and world market? since Japanese banks for long have problems generating profit.

It is the biggest bank in Japan by assets? So what is the biggest bank with other standards? Japan bank?

(Answer: three vast conglomerates in Japan - Mitsubishi-UFJ financial group alongside Mizuho and the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group.)

The merger of banks is tough (every merger should be so, but what between banks is tougher.) I read the news it was announced in July 2004, with an objective to complete it by September 2005. However, in the end, after several delays and rescheduling it was supposed to established in October 1^st, 2005, but once again put off due to computer system integration problems.

It was finally, officially brought into existence on January 1^st, 2006.

三菱東京UFJ銀行 is a Japanese bank that was established on January 1, 2006, with the merger of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. and UFJ Bank Limited. The bank serves as the core retail and commercial banking unit of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, the Japanese largest financial services company measured by assets.

Mizuho Bank is active in retail banking with 515 branches and over 11,000 ATMs, the only bank with branches in every prefecture (都道府県).

Chiyoda is one of the 23 special wards in central Tokyo, where many government institutions, such as the Diet (国会), Prime Minister’s residence locate. 永田町, 大手町, 丸の内, 靖國神社(Yasukuni Shrine) are in this ward too. The 3 largest banks are all headquartered here, in Marunouchi.
